Men's Cross Country Looks to Make a Statement at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals

PHILADELPHIA- The Temple University men's cross country team will compete in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships Friday, Nov. 12th. The 10k race is slated for a 1 p.m. start at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course at Lehigh University.

- "This will be a good test for our group with 6 athletes lining up to compete at the regional 10k for the first time in their careers. This experience will be beneficial for them long term as we look to continue taking steps forward as a program in future years."
- Joe Arthur led the Owls with a sixth place finish.
- Temple saw six of their eight runners finish in the top thirty-three.
- All eight runners finished in the top-50.
- The Owls finished the AAC Championships with a top-5 finish.
- The Goodman Campus Cross Country Course has four different course distances that navigate through cornfields, green space, wooded areas and campus scenery.Â
- Temple is ranked ninth in the most recent regional poll.
- The Owls finished in fourth place in the 2019 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional.
