Lauren Eitler

PHILADELPHIA – Temple head volleyball Coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam has announced the signing of Lauren Eitler to the Owls' 2022 recruiting class.

"We are very excited to add Lauren to our team. She's a true six-rotation pin hitter, and comes from an excellent club program. She was coached by experienced and skilled individuals throughout her prep career. We had a great connection with her and her family throughout this process, and we believe she's going to be a great fit to our program and university.", said Ganesharatnam.

Eitler spent her club career with the A5 Mizuno Volleyball. In 2019, the John's Creek, Ga. native was voted the 2019 Max Preps Player of the Year and named to the 2019 Ultra Ankle JVA watchlist.

Throughout her high school career at Johns Creek in Johns Creek, Ga., Eitler has earned various awards. After three consecutive years of performing to all-region stature this past season of 2021, Eitler culminated her high school career with a Region 7-AAAAAA Player of the Year. The six-footer ended her Gladiators' career with 1,328 career kills, 900 digs, 427 assists, and 168 service aces.
