Men's Basketball Meets Boise State Friday at Noon

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Less than 24 hours after falling to Clemson in its opening game of the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic, Temple (1-2) will take on Boise State (1-2) in the consolation bracket Friday at noon (ESPNU/1210 AM WPHT).
SCOUTING TEMPLE
> Khalif Battle leads the Owls and ranks sixth in the AAC in scoring at 17.3 ppg. He is tied for the team lead and fourth in the conference in FG% (.500), leads in threes per game (3.7) and third with in 3PT% (.400).
> Damian Dunn (13.0 ppg) and Tai Strickland (11.7 ppg), who is coming off a career-high 16 points vs. Clemson, are the only other Owls averaging double figures.  Dunn is tied for the AAC lead in FT% (13-13, 1.000).
> Nick Jourdain (3.0 ppg) leads the team in rebounding (7.3 rpg) and ranks second in the AAC in blocks (3.0 bpg) despite averaging just 20.0 mpg off the bench.
