Jordan Mason Named American Conference Honorable Mention

IRVING, Texas – After stuffing the stat sheet in dominant wins over Georgian Court and Saint Francis, the American Conference announced Monday afternoon that Temple University men's basketball senior guard Jordan Mason was named to the American Conference honorable mention list.
Mason averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 10.0 assists while shooting 69.2 percent (9-of-13) from the floor and a perfect 100 percent (6-of-6) from the free-throw line.
Against Georgian Court, Mason recorded the first double-double of his career with 10 points and 11 assists and was two rebounds shy of a triple-double. He followed with 15 points, five rebounds and nine assists against Saint Francis.
Mason now leads the American and ranks 14th nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio. He became the first Owl since at least the 2004-05 season to post nine or more assists in back-to-back games.
Temple returns to action Thursday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. at Davidson.
