Women's Soccer Faces UCF in Season Opener this Sunday

PHILADELPHIA — Temple women's soccer team opens up the 2020-21 season at home this weekend taking on AAC rival UCF on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 12:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ from the Temple Sports Complex.
Season Opener
> Sunday's matchup will serve as the 2020-21 season opener for both teams.
The Owls
> Temple Head Coach Nick Bochette is in his first season with the Owls after four seasons as head coach at the University of Albany.
> The Owls are coming off a 5-9-5 (2-5-2 AAC) season in 2019, finishing seventh in the AAC.
> The women will be playing a condensed schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with eight conference and four non-conference games.
> The team is led by seniors Julia Dolan and Arryana Daniels and junior Kamryn Stablein.
> Last season's lead scorer, Hailey Gutowski, is slated to make a huge impact yet again this season.
