USF Defeats Women’s Soccer, 2-0

TAMPA, Fla. – Temple women's soccer (1-2, 0-2 AAC) struggled offensively during their Sunday afternoon matchup versus USF as the Bulls' game of keep-away led them to a victory, 2-0.
How it Happened
> USF struck first in the 7th minute with a goal by Kate Kitching, her first of the season, assisted by Paula Leblic.
> Goalkeeper Kamryn Stablein followed up with two saves, one in the 10th minute and the other in the 23rd minute.
> USF's Leblic would then put up her own goal in the 28th minute.
> Stablein would pick up another save in the first half in the 34th minute.
> Temple tried to narrow the score deficit before the half with a shot by Julia Dolan in the 43rd minute, but the shot went out left.
> The Owls, looking to rebound from a tough first 45 minutes, started strong with Teri Jackson firing a shot on goal in the 49th minute.
> Stablein, insistent on keep the Bulls scoreless, went on to have five huge saves between the 50th and 60th minutes, bringing her game total up to eight.
> Stablein would nab her tenth save of the game with just over a minute left in the game.
