Kamryn Stablein Named AAC Goalkeeper of the Week

PHILADELPHIA -- After an strong showing versus Villanova and USF, Temple women's soccer goalkeeper and captain, Kamryn Stablein, was named the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday.
The junior transfer from the University of Delaware made an immediate impact in her Owl debut versus UCF where she made seven saves. She would go on to help lead the Owls to a dominant win over Villanova, recording nine saves and earning the first shutout of her Temple career.
Stablein's most impressive showing would come Sunday afternoon versus USF where she kept the Bulls scoreless in the second half and nabbed ten saves. She currently leads the AAC in saves (26) and saves per game (8.67) with a save percentage of .839.
This is Stablein's first AAC Goalkeeper of the Week award.
