COLUMBUS, Ohio - In its first event in nearly a year, the Temple fencing squad swept day one at the Ohio State Multi Meet Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Sarah Park led the team, going undefeated in epee.

Meet Summary
> The Cherry and White opened the meet strong, earning an 18-9 victory over Northwestern.
> Temple remained solid in its second match, defeating Wayne State 25-2.
> The Owls completed the sweep with a 16-11 win against Air Force.

Individual Highlights
> The foil squad went undefeated on the day.
> Park went 8-0, while Naomi Ross went 5-3, Marielle Luke went 3-3, and Sara Proctor went 1-1 in her debut.
> Foil squad leader Megan Ross went 6-2 on the day in foil, while Elizabeth Novoseltseva went 6-1, Anastasia Yankovskiy went 5-2, and Gretl Merges went 4-1 in their first meet in Cherry and White.
> In sabre, Emma Pincus posted a 3-3 record while Eva Hinds and Alexandra Weinberg went 2-1, Zoe Turner went 2-3, and Diana Tiburcio went 1-0.
