CINCINNATI – An all-around dominant team effort led Temple to secure a victory over Cincinnati, 2-1, Sunday afternoon at Guttler Stadium, moving the Owls' season record to 3-2-1 (AAC 1-2-1).

How It Happened
> The Bearcats took the early lead in the first two minutes of the game with a shot by Vanessa DiNardo, assisted by Maddy Pittman.
> Cincinnati looked to keep its momentum going with a few follow-up shots.
> Hailey Gutowski tried to even the score with a powerful shot in the 18th minute, but goalkeeper Anna Rexford was there with the save.
> DiNardo looked to secure her second goal of the game in the 26th minute, but the shot went wide right.
> In the 41st minute, Gutowski fired another shot trying to help the Owls tie the game before the half, but Rexford would make the save again.
> The Bearcats tried to extend the lead, but Kamryn Stablein would produce her first save of the game.
> In the second half, following a foul on Gabriela Johnson, the Owls responded with an early goal of their own as Lexy Endres nabbed her first goal as an Owl off the penalty kick in the 46th minute.
> Stablein came up with a huge save in the 63rd minute from a shot by DiNardo.
> The Owls kept the pressure coming with four shots between the 66th and 69th minutes with one from Endres and Julia Dolan and two from Johnson.
> Temple took the lead in the 75th minute as Johnson found the back of the goal off a beautiful cross from Gutowski.
> Cincinnati tried to produce the equalizer in the remaining 15 minutes with three separate shots, but with one out top right and Stablein (4 saves, 1 GA) coming up with two saves, Temple would walk away with the win.
