PHILADELPHIA- Two Temple lacrosse alumnae were named to Temple University's 30 under 30 list. Former attacker Rachel Schwaab has been named to the list for work with the US Army Corp of Engineers, while  former midfielder Brooke Williams is being honored for her role as director of Athletic Compliance at the University of Southern California (USC).
The Temple 30 under 30 is an annual award list that honors the achievements of 30 outstanding alumni under the age of 30. The award was created in 2019 in partnership with the Alumni and Constituent Engagement and Strategic Marketing and Communications.
Williams played in nearly every game during her time with the Owls. During her career, she scored 16 goals, earned 21 assists, and picked up 15 ground balls. She also earned numerous academic awards and was Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) President for the 2016-17 academic year. After completing her undergraduate degree, Williams opted to stay at Temple for her Master's in Sports Business, which she earned in 2019. Soon after she accepted a job in the USC compliance office. One year later she was promoted to her current role as director of Athletic Compliance.
Schwaab had an impressive career from the moment she arrived on campus. During her freshman year, she was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team and the A-10 All-Championship Team. She played every game beginning her sophomore season and was  named to the BIG EAST Second Team during her senior season in 2016. She received at least one academic award every season during her time at Temple. Since graduating from the Temple College of Engineering, she has begun working with the US Army Corp of Engineers on creating solutions to water-based issues. She is currently working on infrastructure projects and the clean-up of manmade toxins in water.
