Field Hockey Falls at No. 6 Liberty

LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Temple field hockey team fell 2-0 at No. 6 Liberty Sunday afternoon to close out the four-game series with the team. With the loss, the Owls fall to 5-9 (2-8 BIG EAST) while the Flames improve to 12-2 (10-2 BIG EAST).Â
Recapping the Game
> Liberty went up quickly, scoring off a penalty corner at the three-minute mark.
> The Flames put the game away five minutes into the second quarter with Jodie Conolly scoring on another penalty corner.
> Temple couldn't get much going offensively but was able to successfully defend 10 penalty corners for the second day in a row.Â

> Temple fired one shot, with Kerrie Lorenz making the attempt.
> Senior Cristina Carotenuto tied her career-high seven saves to put her season total at 58.
