Women's Rowing Wraps Up Weekend Competition Facing Princeton

PHILADELPHIA - It was a quick turnaround for Temple rowing this weekend with back-to-back racing days. After competing in yesterday's Kelly Cup, the Owls headed across the Delaware to New Jersey where they faced the Princeton Tigers Sunday afternoon in a trio of races.
Racing Action
> The Owls faced the Tigers in three events including Varsity Four, Second Varsity Eight and Varsity Eight races.
> Competition started at 4 p.m. with the Varsity Four race, where the Owls finished second with a time of 7:36.6.
> Next up was the Second Varsity Eight in which Temple raced two boats, "A" and B". Temple's "A" boat finished in second with the "B" boat finishing third with respective times of 6:44.4 and 7:18.6.
> Last up for the day was the Varsity Eight boat, which clocked in at 6:43.6. and landed the third second-place finish of the day.

> Temple women's rowing now sets its eyes on the coveted Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta May 8, on the Schuylkill River.
