How it Happened
- After 30 minutes of back-and-forth play, midfielder Erin Theiller capitalized off a free kick sent in from Lexy Endres in the midfield. Theiller rushed into the box, one-timing the ball into the back left corner of the net for the go-ahead goal.
- Temple continued to dominate the pace into the second half and recorded four unanswered shots.
- Brooke Kane started it off for the Owls, rifling the ball from outside the box in the 52nd minute. The shot sailed slightly over the cage, just missing the net. This attempt was followed by shots from Hailey Gutowski, Emily Kavanaugh and Endres. Gutowksi and Kavanaugh took shots on goal, but Penn's keeper, Laurence Gladu came up big with two saves. Endres trailed, missing the cage wide.

- Stablein was a force in goal for the Owls, with eight of her 15 saves coming after the 67th minute to keep the game at a draw.
