Kamryn Stablein Named AAC Goalkeeper of the Week

PHILADELPHIA – After a strong showing in the home opener against Penn on Friday night, Temple women's soccer goalkeeper and captain Kamryn Stablein was named American Athletic Conference (AAC) Goalkeeper of the week on Monday.
The match against Philly rival, Penn was highlighted by the junior goalkeeper from Orwigsburg, Pa. Stablein was a force in goal for the Owls, recording 15 saves on the match, with eight of those saves coming after the 67th minute to preserve the draw. Stablein ranks second in the conference in saves (18) and first in saves per game (9).
This is Stablein's first AAC Goalkeeper of the Week award of the season, and third of her career after receiving the award twice in 2020-21.
