Field Hockey Falls to Bucknell in First Loss of the Season

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple field hockey team fell 2-1 to Bucknell Sunday afternoon, splitting the weekend 1-1. The Owls are now 3-1 after two weeks of play in the team's best start since 2014.
Recapping the Game
> Julianne Kopec scored her fourth of the season to put Temple on the board early, intercepting the ball near midfield and slipping it past the Bucknell goalie at the five-minute mark.
> The Bison was able to even the match less than a minute into the second quarter, with Mackenzie Kile scoring off the deflection from MK Stefanowicz.
> Bucknell scored the eventual game-winner just 10 minutes later, converting the team's third penalty corner of the game.
> The majority of the third quarter was played in the midfield, with neither team firing a shot.
