Davis Named Big 5 Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - The Big 5 announced today that Temple forward Mia Davis was named this week's Big 5 Player of the Week. Davis averaged 23 ppg, 8.5 rpg and shot 71 percent from the field in a 1-1 week for the Owls. She scored 22 points (5-6 FG, 12-14 FT) and grabbed six rebounds in helping Temple overcome a 15-point deficit to defeat Cincinnati (68-64). Later in the week, she followed that with a double-double (24 points, 11 rebounds) in the loss at Memphis (64-61).
Davis was also named to the AAC Honor Roll for her efforts.

Gabby Crawford, La Salle (Jr., F)- Averaged 14.5 points in a 0-2 week for La Salle.
Kayla Padilla, Penn (Jr., G)- Averaged 17.0 points, 4.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds an 0-2 week for Penn.
Maddy Siegrist, Villanova (Jr., F) -Â Averaged 26.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 blocks in a 2-0 week for the Wildcats.Â
