With the eyes of the sports world focused on Philadelphia, we look forward to seeing you at Lincoln Financial Field on Friday as THE city's college football team – our Temple Owls – take on Tulsa at 7:30 pm.
We want to alert you to what will be an exciting and electric atmosphere at the Sports Complex Friday evening. While the Owls and Golden Hurricane kickoff, the first pitch of Game 3 of the National League Championship Series between the Phillies and the Padres will take place next door at Citizens Bank Park just moments later. Additionally, the Wells Fargo Center will be hosting a sold-out concert beginning at 6:30 pm.
As a result, please plan accordingly when traveling to the Linc on Friday. With all the energy in South Philadelphia, expect a heavy traffic environment and be sure to give yourself enough time to arrive safely, noting that the gates open for parking starting at 2:30 pm. Lot K parking will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Only those fans with pre-paid Lot K passes are guaranteed a spot. Lastly, out of precaution, given the anticipated heavy traffic around the stadium, we will not have the team's traditional "Fly In" prior to the game. As you would expect, we want to prioritize our team's ability to enter the stadium in a timely and safe manner.
