Coritz Earns First Career AAC Weekly Honor Roll

IRVING, Texas – Temple women's soccer defender, Katie Cortiz was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Monday.
The Clifton, Va., native was instrumental in the win over LIU on Saturday evening, recording her first career brace to help the Owls to the 5-0 victory. Coritz tallied the second goal of the match on a deflection inside the box in the 28th minute followed by another set piece conversion to close out the half in the 41st minute. The 5-0 win served as the most goals scored by the program in a single game since 2017.
Temple will be back in action on Thursday, Oct. 6 to take on UCF at the Temple Sports Complex. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
