Kristy Bannon Serves as Moderator on Black Women in Sport Panel

PHILADELPHIA – Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Athlete Affairs, Kristy Bannon served as a moderator on the Black Women in Sport Panel hosted by the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University on Thursday, Feb. 17.
In honor of Black History Month and the 50th anniversary of Title IX quickly approaching on June 23rd of 2022, the Black Women in Sport Panel discussed how Title IX has supported the opportunities of BIPOC women, specifically in sport.
This in-depth discussion was curated by three women that currently serve in the intercollegiate athletics landscape, including Sherryta Freeman, Director of Athletics at Lafayette, Traci Green, head tennis coach at Harvard University and Maisha Kelly, Director of Athletics at Drexel University.
