Temple Mourns the Loss of John Belli

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University mourns the loss of John Martin Belli, Esquire (CLA '78, LAW '83) who played under head coach Wayne Hardin in 1976-77.
Belli, age 65, passed away at Temple University Hospital on February 23, 2022 after suffering a stroke. An ardent lifelong Temple Athletics supporter, Belli was also a devoted husband and father, the best brother, kind and silly grandfather, teammate, coach, advisor, mentor, and friend. Belli is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann Belli (SSW '78), his children Andy Belli (LAW '08) (Alisa) and Katie Snover (Andy), and his beautiful grandchildren Harry & Ellie Snover with another Belli baby expected in March.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation with John's family on Wednesday evening beginning at 5:00pm at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19128. A Remembrance will be held at 8:30pm.
