PHILADELPHIA – No. 18 Temple lacrosse (5-3) fell to the Delaware Blue Hens (2-5) 11-10 Friday night. Despite dominating the first half, the Owls could stop a second-half rally by the Hens.

Recapping the Game 
> Quinn Nicolai scored the first two goals of the game to take a 2-0 lead.   
> Delaware tallied the next goal before Belle Mastropietro scored her first goal of the match.
> The Hens scored the next two goals to end the first quarter 3-3.
> Maeve Tobin and Riley McGowan scored two straight for Temple.
> Delaware scored a goal proceeding a 3-0 Owl run. McGowan scored once, sandwiched between two goals from Mastropietro (8-4).
> The Blue Hens scored two goals to cut into the lead going to the half, 8-6 Temple at the half.
> Julie Schickling opened the scoring the third frame. Delaware scored the next two (9-8).
> Nicolai scored her third goal of the game, it would be the final score for Temple of the match.
> Delaware scored the final three goals of the game to take the contest, 11-10.

Statistically Speaking
> Mastropietro scored her sixth hat trick in seven games. She also tied for the game-high with four ground balls, she also tied for the game-high with six draw controls and caused two turnovers.
