Temple Holds Annual Pro Day

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple Football program played host to its annual Pro Day this afternoon as 10 former Owls participated in the event in front of a group of NFL scouts representing over 12 teams. With no NFL Combine this year for these players, today's Pro Day marked the best opportunity for the athletes to showcase their talent in front of NFL personnel.
Prospective NFL players had measurements taken and did the bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 40-yard dash, and three-cone drill. The former Owls also ran position drills to help showcase their talent with the ball or against another man.
Participating players include 2021 Temple seniors: RB Ra'Von Bonner, OL Joseph Hooper, CB Jeremy Jennings, CB Freddie Johnson, LB William Kwenkeu, OL Michael Niese, OL C.J. Perez, RB Tayvon Ruley, SAF Amir Tyler, DE Manny Walker

Additional student-athletes from local schools worked out at Temple's STAR Complex along with the Temple seniors. They included former Owls: CB Aaron Adu (Western Illinois), QB Anthony Russo (Michigan State), and DL Casey Williams (Stony Brook).
In addition, DT Prince Emili (Penn), WR Rasheem James (West Chester), WR Henry Litwin (Slippery Rock) were participants.
The NFL Draft starts on Thursday, April 28 and will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
