NORFOLK, Va. – Temple men's tennis (8-5) earned their second sweep of the season in a 7-0 victory over Norfolk State (0-7) on Sunday afternoon.

"We really put out a great effort today," head coach Steve Mauro said. "After a tough loss yesterday, we really bounced back to get ourselves back into the win column as we head into another challenging week."

The Owls will return to action on Wednesday, Mar. 30 to take on Morgan State. This serves as the men's first outdoor home match of the season at the TU Pavilion and is set for 2 p.m.

- The Owls opened play with wins from the No. 1 and No. 2 position to secure the doubles point early and move into singles play with the momentum.
- The Owls kept their foot on the gas, claiming the remaining six points, two of which came by default to hold the Spartans scoreless and pick up the win.
- Due to the small roster size of Norfolk State, the No. 3 doubles match and the No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches were given to Temple by default.
