Men’s Tennis Set to Travel to No. 34 Princeton

PHILADELPHIA – After a three-match homestand, Temple men's tennis takes to the road to face off against No. 34 Princeton on Saturday, Mar. 5. The match is set for 10:30 a.m. in the Jadwin Gymnasium.

- The Owls are 3-2 on the season, entering the weekend on a three-match win streak.
- In their most recent competition, the Cherry and White downed No. 56 Monmouth, 5-2. This win put an end to the Hawks undefeated season, which had included five-straight sweeps.
- Marin Delmas leads the way for Temple, consistently competing at the No. 1 spot in singles play. The standout junior has compiled a 4-1 record, losing only once in the second match of the season to Edoardo Graziani of Penn.
- The Tigers are 8-5 on the season, previously on a three-match win streak before falling in their most recent match to No. 30 MTSU. After the loss to No. 30, the Tigers fell from No. 29 to No. 34 in the ITA National Team Rankings.
- Princeton most recently participated in the Blue Gray Classic at the Lagoon Park Tennis Complex in Montgomery, Ala. where they matched up against top-tier opponents, advancing to the title game.
- Princeton first knocked off Nebraska by a score of 4-1 to advance to the semifinal against VCU, where they triumphed, 4-1 as well. Despite a good effort, they dropped the title game to MTSU, 4-1.
- Aside from their No. 34 team ranking, senior Ryan Seggerman is listed at No. 107 in singles, while the duo of Seggerman and Justin Barki clocked in at No. 35 in doubles.
