BOCA RATON, Fla., - After a three-match win streak, the Temple women's tennis squad (3-2) dropped to FAU (7-6) in a battle of the Owls by a score of 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Notes

Florida Atlantic wasted no time, sweeping the doubles point after earning two wins from the No. 1 and No. 2 spot before the No. 3 position went unfinished.
The Cherry and White looked to bounce back in doubles play, but a string of unfinished sets as well as three losses kept Florida Atlantic ahead to finish the match with all four of the possible points.

"This was our first match that we've played outside this year," head coach Steve Mauro said. "On top of that, we've had a long weekend of travel, and despite the loss, we really fought hard. We are looking to bounce back tomorrow against Keiser to finish out the weekend."
