Head Coach Steve Mauro Earns 200th Win in 5-2 Victory Over FDU

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Temple men's tennis (4-3) earned their fourth win of the season in a 5-2 showing over FDU (3-6) on Tuesday afternoon. With this victory, Head Coach Steve Mauro reached 200 wins at the helm of the men's tennis program since his start in 2005.

"I was really happy with our effort today," head coach Steve Mauro said. "We were playing without two of our starters but the rest of the team really stepped up and did their part to still get the win over a quality NEC team."

The Owls will return to action this weekend, Mar. 12 as they travel to Annapolis, Md., to face off against the Navy Midshipmen at 10 a.m.

- Despite playing without two key players due to injury, the Owls came out strong, winning from all three positions to earn the doubles point.
- The Cherry and White had continued success in singles play, earning four more points to close out the match with a three-point advantage over the Knights and take the win.
