Men's Tennis Finishes 2022 No. 10 in ITA's Atlantic Region

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Temple men's tennis program concluded the 2022 concluded the ranked No. 10 in the final ITA Collegiate Tennis Division I Men's Regional Rankings coming in at No. 10 overall in the Atlantic Region.
"The Atlantic is one of the top regions in the country with the 2022 National Champions, University of Virginia. There are a lot of strong teams, so being in the top 10 is honor, but we look to keep improving and getting better," said head coach Steve Mauro. "All of our starters are returning to next year's team and we are looking forward to getting to work for next season and accomplishing great things!"
Temple finished the season with a 12-10 overall record, sweeping five opponents. The Owls featured a highly competitive schedule that included seven opponents in the top 60 ITA rankings of the time of their respective matches, with four those teams in the top 37.
Individually, junior Marin Delmas completed the season ranked No. 10 in the Atlantic, finishing 18-7 overall, including a 13-5 dual performance and 5-2 tournament showing. Delmas also partnered with Louis Gorregues, going 9-5 in dual play and 10-2 in tournament play for a 19-7 overall mark.
