Men's and Women's Cross Country Announce 2022 Schedule

The Owls begin the year with a short trip to Bethlehem, Pa. for the Lehigh Invitational on Sept. 2. The following week, the Owls will compete at a meet to be determined before traveling to Minneapolis, Minn. for the 36th Annual Roy Griak Invitational on Sep. 23. The Cherry & White's final meet before the postseason sees the Owls take the drive up to State College, Pa. for the Penn State National Open on Oct. 14.
A few weeks later, Temple makes the trek to Tulsa, Okla. for the American Athletic Conference Championships on Oct. 28 in hopes to qualify for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Nov. 11 back in State College, Pa.
"We have a great schedule lined up this season. The addition of the Roy Griak Invitational in late September is an exciting opportunity for both teams to gain competitive racing experience against some of the best teams in the nation," Imer said. "This exposure will prepare us well for the postseason, where we will travel to Tulsa for the American Athletic Cross Country Championships before returning to Penn State for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional. With the majority of our runners returning I'm very excited to start working with this group and see what they can accomplish this fall!"
With good performances throughout the season, the Owls hope to find themselves in Stillwater, Okla. on Nov. 19 for the NCAA Championships.
