Kathryn "Kat" Bielinski is a 5-10 defender hailing from nearby Wayne, Pennsylvania. Bielinski starred in the later part of her career at Conestoga High School. As a junior, she earned distinguished honors, as well as being named Second Team All Main Line, All-Central League Honorable Mention, and Philly All America Underclass team. Her high school team made it to the state semifinals and were conference champions while posting an 18-1-3 record. During her senior season, Bielinski continued to impress. The defender was named All American, team Defensive MVP, First Team All-Central League, First Team All-Area, as well as being named a team captain. Bielinski led Conestoga High School to the conference, district, and state championships in her final year.
Anastasia Ciminera
Anastasia "Ann" Ciminera is a 5-9 midfielder/defender who comes to Temple from Media, Pennsylvania. Ciminera attended Cardinal O'Hara, the same high school as current Temple star defender Katie Shallow. She played varsity during all four years at Cardinal O'Hara, as a Junior, Ciminera broke out, earning First Team all-Catholic League, as well as Second Team all-Delaware County honors. She led her team to the Philadelphia Catholic League final, as well as the state semifinals. As a senior, Ciminera was even better. She starred, earning, First-Team Delaware County and Catholic League honors, as well as being named an All-American. She was also voted a captain and was All-Academic in both her junior and senior years.
Alexandria Culp
Alexandria "Lexi" Culp is the second Cardinal O'Hara player in the class, she hails from Springfield, Pennsylvania. A 5-7 attacker, Culp is just as accomplished off the field as on it. She was one of the top academic performers in her class throughout high school, earning First Honors all four years. Culp also was a member of several community service clubs. On the lacrosse field, she was named First Team All-Delco and All-Catholic league in both her junior and senior seasons. She was also a three-year letter winner and 2019 Catholic League Champion in Field Hockey.
Gracin Emerson
Gracin Emerson arrives at North Broad from East Lansing, Michigan, she is among the first ever Temple lacrosse players from the Midwest. Emerson was a three-sport athlete at East Lansing High School. The 5-5 midfielder starred in volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse. As a senior, she earned the "Captain's Award" in all three sports, and was Honorable Mention All-State in Volleyball as a senior. On the lacrosse field, she was named Honorable Mention All-State as a junior and was her team's goal, ground ball, and caused turnover leader. Emerson was All-Academic throughout her high school career and was named a Distinguished Scholar as a freshman and senior.
Meagan Florkowski
Meagan Florkowski is the first of two goalies in the 2022 freshman class. The 5-7 Redding, Connecticut native comes from a strong sports background, as her father, John played soccer at Penn State. Florkowski had a distinguished high school lacrosse career. She started varsity in all three seasons she played. During her junior season, Florkowski was First Team All-State, Second Team All-Conference, and team defensive MVP. She led Joel Barlow High School to a conference title, as well as a state semifinal appearance. Her senior year saw her pass the 300 career save threshold, Florkowski also was named First Team All-Conference and All-State, as well as her winning her second straight defensive MVP award.
Riley Horoshko
Riley Horoshko is the second goalie in the 2022 class. She brings an exceptional athletics background to Temple. Her brother Jake Horoshko played football for Temple for two years, while her other brother Brian played baseball at the California University of Pennsylvania. Her extended family features Ryan Purvis, who was a two-time All-ACC tight end and played three years in the NFL, and Tyler Purvis, who played tight end for NC State. Horoshko lives up to her family's billing, she started in goal as a freshman at Allentown Central Catholic and was named ECP Honorable Mention. As a junior, Horoshko dominated. She was named to the Morning Call All-Star team, PASLA nation team, ECP second team, and set a school record for most saves in a single season at 208. As a senior, Horoshko was named Team Defensive MVP, was a team captain, and was named All-Area First Team.
Emily Liberio
Emily Liberio comes to North Broad from Milmont Park, Pennsylvania, she has been a Temple fan her entire life. She was an accomplished athlete in multiple sports at Ridley High School, having been a two-time captain in volleyball and a league champion in basketball. On the lacrosse field, Liberio shined as a 5-10 midfielder. During her junior year, Liberio was a Captain, earned Second Team All-Central League honors, and was Honorable Mention All Delaware County. As a senior, she was awarded the Sarah Guy award by her high school coaches and was also named Second Team All Delaware Country and First Team All-Central Conference.
Sabrina Martin
Sabrina Martin joins the Owls from Montclair, New Jersey in the New York City area. Martin starred as a defender throughout her high school career. She was named Montclair High School Rookie of the Year as a freshman, picking up 29 ground balls, 58 draw controls, and 15 caused turnovers. Martin was named a team captain as both a junior and senior. In her junior year, she was named Second Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-League. Martin's senior year put up another strong season, earning First Team All-County and Second Team All-League, as well as her team's unsung hero award.
Madison Moten
Madison Moten arrives at Temple after a career at Delran High School in New Jersey. Yet another Owl with a strong sports lineage, Moten's father Ron played football at the University of Florida and played four years for the Philadelphia Eagles. Her brother, RJ, currently plays defensive back for the University of Michigan. Moten played varsity midfielder as a freshman and helped take her team to the second round of the BCSL Playoffs. She experienced a breakout season in 2022 as a junior, being named a team captain and a First Team BCSL All-Star. In her senior season, Moten again was awarded First Team BCSL honors and was a captain. During her junior and senior seasons combined, Moten put up 148 points, and 100 draw controls.
Kaitlyn Stankavage
Kaitlyn Stankavage is the latest Garnet Valley High School product to come to North Broad. Stankavage is one of the most decorated Temple athletics recruits in recent history. A 5-6 midfielder, Stankavage was part of an undefeated junior varsity team her freshman season. She was called up to varsity for the playoffs. In her junior season, she racked up a staggering 112 draw controls. Stankavage was named First Team All-Delco, First Team All-Central League, US Lacrosse All-Academic, and US Lacrosse All-American. Her senior year was even more impressive, she repeated all of her accolades from her junior season but also earned recognition as a Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Delco Chapter 2021-22 Spring Honoree, won the Bo & Kelly Ryan Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award, and Garnet Valley Athletic Department Athletic Excellence Award.
Olivia Saxman
Olivia Saxman hails from Raleigh, North Carolina and the Ravenscroft School. She joins a recent trend of Owls from the south after Erin King and Amelia Wright joined the squad from Georgia last year. At 5-9, Saxman played midfielder in high school but will play defense for the Cherry and White. She played varsity as a freshman and helped Ravencroft earn a 19-2 record and a state title match. In Saxman's junior year, she was named All-Conference and All-State. In her final season, Saxman was named a team captain and was named team MVP. She was named All-Conference for a second consecutive season. Saxman also competed in volleyball and gymnastics for several years.
