De'Von Fox Named AAC Special Teams Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA – Temple wide receiver De'Von Fox was named Special Teams Player of the Week by the American Athletic Conference for Week 2.
Fox, a redshirt sophomore wide receiver from Maple Heights, Ohio, blocked three punts this past Saturday in the win over Lafayette, setting a new Temple recrod for blocked punts a player in a single game. The blocked punts, which fell one shy of an NCAA single game record, led to two touchdowns and a safety for Temple. He leads the nation in blocked kicks by a single player, as well as Temple leading the FBS in blocked kicks all thanks to Fox.
