Burns Earns AAC Goalkeeper of the Week

IRVING, Texas – After posting her third clean sheet of 2022 in the 0-0 draw against Drexel on Sept. 8, goalkeeper Kyla Burns was awarded AAC Goalkeeper of the Week honors for her efforts. Burns grabbed seven saves to keep the undefeated Dragons off the board, advancing her save total to 35 on the year. This serves as Burns second weekly conference honor of her career, earning Weekly Honor Roll on Aug. 29. 
 
Temple will be back in action on Thursday, Sept. 15, as they travel to Tulsa, Okla., to open conference play against the Golden Hurricane. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
