PHILADELPHIA - The Ray Guy Award is an honor presented annually to college football's most outstanding punter. After three games, Temple redshirt senior Mackenzie Morgan has been named to the Ray Guy Watch List. Nominees for the award are evaluated on their overall statistics and contribution to their respective team.

Born in Australia, Morgan moved to the United States after high school. He spent two years at N.C. State before moving on to Weber State. Morgan transferred to Temple in the summer and has spent the season as the team's primary punter. Through three games, Morgan has punted 15 times for 591 yards for an average of 40.2 yards per punt.Ā

Morgan looks to become the first punter from the American Athletic Conference to win since 2013.
