Women’s Basketball American Athletic Conference Schedule Announced

PHILADELPHIA - The American Athletic Conference announced its 2022-23 women's basketball schedule today and Temple will open its 16-game conference slate against Memphis at the Liacouras Center on Dec. 30.
The conference also announced the television schedule for the league with Temple being televised at least 23 times on ESPN platforms, including all 16 AAC games. Temple's game at South Florida on Jan. 3 will be televised on ESPNU with all remaining conference games and all home non-conference tilts being televised on ESPN+. The Owls' game at Penn will also be televised by ESPN+.
Temple's game at St. John's will be carried by FloSports. Broadcast information has not been announced for the team's remaining non-conference road games (Princeton, Saint Joseph's, Bucknell and Old Dominion).
Following its home AAC opener with the Tigers, Temple will play seven league games in January. The Owls will open the month on the road, traveling to South Florida (Jan. 3) and Cincinnati (Jan. 7) and will also make trips to Memphis (Jan. 21) and Tulane (Jan. 25). The Liacouras Center will welcome East Carolina (Jan. 11), Tulsa (Jan. 17) and UCF (Jan. 28).
The East Carolina game will be Temple Women's Basketball annual School Day game with a noon start time for the Wednesday game.
Wichita State comes to Philadelphia to open the month of February and is one of three home contests for the Owls in the month along with Cincinnati (Feb. 11) and Houston (Feb. 18). Temple takes a pair of two-game road trips in February, the first being to Houston (Feb. 4) and East Carolina (Feb. 8) then ending the month at UCF (Feb. 21) and Wichita State (Feb. 25).
Temple closes out the regular season with its home finale against SMU (Mar. 1).
The 2023 American Athletic Conference Championship will once again be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas from March 6-9.
