Owls in the NFL - Week 3

PHILADELPHIA - Week 3 in the NFL consisted of some divisional matchups and a couple first wins of the season for former Owls.
Carolina's Matt Rhule (2013-16) and his former Owls - Robbie Anderson (2011-13, 2015), Sean Chandler (2014-17), Sam Franklin (2016-19), Matt Ioannidis (2012-15), and P.J. Walker (2013-16) dominated NFC South division rivals, the New Orleans Saints, 22-14, to win their first game of the season.
Haason Reddick (2013-16) and Shaun Bradley (2016-19) were also able to lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a commanding 24-8 victory over NFC East division rivals, the Washington Commanders. Reddick had his best performance of the season as he reeled in four tackles, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and two quarterback hits.
Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) and Matt Hennessy (2016-19) helped the Atlanta Falcons to gain their first win of the season, 27-23, in Seattle. Ebiketie contributed a tackle in this win.
Rock Ya-Sin (2018) led his Las Vegas Raiders into Tennessee, where he tallied six tackles before his late game exit with a knee injury. The Raiders were unable to come away with a victory, as they would lose 24-22.
Dion Dawkins (2013-16) and Tyler Matakevich (2012-15) of the Buffalo Bills lost a close one, 21-19 to AFC East division rivals, the Miami Dolphins.
Jacob Martin (2014-17) and his New York Jets were unable to continue their momentum from last week as they would lose to the Cincinnati Bengals, 27-12.
Michael Dogbe (2014-18) and the Arizona Cardinals were also unable to keep their momentum up this week as they lost 20-12 to NFC West division rivals, the Los Angeles Rams. Dogbe walked away with two tackles.
On Sunday night, Brandon McManus (2009-12) and the Denver Broncos defeated the San Francisco 49ers, 11-10. McManus drilled a 55-yard field goal, scoring three points in the win.
In the Monday night NFC East divisional matchup, Chris Myarick (2016-18) and the New York Giants were unable to defeat the Dallas Cowboys as they would lose 23-16. Myarick finished with one catch for six yards.
