Lacrosse Receiving Votes in 2023 ILWomen/IWLCA Lacrosse Poll

Temple lacrosse is one of five teams in Division I to receive votes in the ILWomen/IWLCA Lacrosse Preseason Poll as announced Monday morning.

The Owls had an impressive showing in 2022, reaching a ranking as high as No. 18 in mid-March. The Cherry and White posted an 11-6 record, showcasing a highly competitive schedule which featured four teams ranked in the top 25 at the time of competition.

Outside the IL Women/IWLCA Preseason Poll, the Owls also received votes in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Preseason Poll that was announced in January, being one of seven teams to receive votes outside the top 20.

Temple will open their season on Feb. 10, facing off against reigning America East Champions, Vermont, at Howarth Field. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
