Owls in the NFL: Week 5

PHILADELPHIA- Week 5 in the NFL consisted of another slate of NFL action in London and some former Owls continuing to dominate the stat sheet.
Brandon McManus (2009-12), Christian Braswell (2018-20), and the Jacksonville Jaguars beat former Owls, Dion Dawkins (2013-16), Tyler Matakevich (2012-15), and the Buffalo Bills, 25-20, in the second game of the NFL's London Series. The Bills offense was able to gain over 350 yards and McManus scored five points (1 FG and 2 PATs).
Haason Reddick (2013-16) and the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Los Angeles Rams, 23-14, to remain undefeated on the season. Reddick delivered a couple of timely sacks in the fourth quarter to help secure the Eagles to fifth win. He also recorded two tackles, two tackles for loss, and three quarterback hits.
Jacob Martin (2014-17) and the Indianapolis Colts beat AFC South division rivals, the Tennessee Titans, 23-16. Martin recorded one tackle and one quarterback hit.
Keith Kirkwood (2014-17) and the New Orleans Saints shutout the New England Patriots, 34-0. Kirkwood was targeted once for a one-yard reception.
Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) and the Atlanta Falcons beat the Houston Texans, 21-19, on the final drive of the game. Ebiketie recorded a season-high, three tackles in the win.
Rock Ya-Sin (2018) and the Baltimore Ravens lost to AFC North division rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, 17-10.
Sam Franklin (2016-19) and the Carolina Panthers lost to the Detroit Lions, 42-24. After an impressive performance last week, Franklin continued his production and recorded a season-high, eight tackles.
