Owls in the NFL: Week 6

PHILADELPHIA- Temple Football was well-represented in Week 6 at the professional level, as several former Owls were contributors for teams across the NFL.
P.J. Walker (2013-16) and the Cleveland Browns handed the San Francisco 49ers their first loss of the season in a close, 19-17 victory. Walker, starting his first game of the season, completed 18 of his 34 attempts, passing for 192 yards in the game.
Rock Ya-Sin (2018) and the Baltimore Ravens beat the Tennessee Titans, 24-16, in the third game of this years' NFL London Series. Ya-Sin recorded one tackle in the win.
Brandon McManus (2009-12), Christian Braswell (2018-20), and the Jacksonville Jaguars beat former Owl, Jacob Martin (2014-17) and AFC South division rivals, the Indianapolis Colts, 37-20. McManus scored 13 points (3 FGs and 4 PATs), including a 51-yard field goal.
On Sunday Night, Dion Dawkins (2013-16), Tyler Matakevich (2012-15), and the Buffalo Bills beat the New York Giants, 14-9. The Bills offense was able to gain 300 yards and hold about 30 minutes of possession.
Haason Reddick (2013-16) and the Philadelphia Eagles lost their first game of the year to the New York Jets, 20-14. Reddick recorded his season-high in five tackles, while also having 2.5 sacks, two tackles for loss, and three quarterback hits.
Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) and the Atlanta Falcons lost to the Washington Commanders, 24-16. Ebiketie still managed to record two tackles, 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss, and two quarterback hits.
Sam Franklin (2016-19) and the Carolina Panthers lost to the Miami Dolphins, 42-21. Franklin recorded four tackles and one pass defended.
Keith Kirkwood (2014-17) and the New Orleans Saints lost to the Houston Texans, 20-13.
