MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Temple men's soccer team fell to 1-3-2 in AAC play with a 4-2 loss to Memphis on Saturday night. Tessho Kobayashi and Rocco Haeufgloeckner scored for the Owls, with Felix Ewald picking up two assists.

How it Happened
> Memphis retained possession for most of the first half, firing off 11 shots to Temple's three. The Tigers got on the board first in the 21st minute.
> The Tigers added one more with less than 20 seconds remaining before halftime.
> Tessho Kobayashi opened the scoring for Temple with a goal in the 57th minute, coming off an assist from Felix Ewald.
> The Owls' German connection came together for the second goal, as Ewald found Rocco Haeufgloeckner in the 84th minute for the final score of the match.

> Kobayashi's goal was the first of his career. He is the 11th different Owl to score this season.
> Ewald posted Temple's first multi-assist game of the season. He is now the team leader with four assists, as well as the leader in goals (four) and points (12).
> Haeufgloeckner is the fourth Owl with multiple goals this season, joining Ewald, Lleyton Imparato, and Juan Zepeda.
