MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Temple women's soccer (2-12-3, 0-8-0 AAC) recorded a 4-0 loss against Memphis (14-1-0, 8-0 AAC). This was the second of a three-game road stint for the Owls.
How it Happened
- The game began in the Owl's defensive third. Tamsin Bynoe made a crucial kick-save for the Owls within the first three minutes.
- After a quick counterattack, Temple generated their first offensive opportunity of the game with a shot from Beky Myers, but the game would go into halftime scoreless.
- Memphis scored four goals in a 20-minute span, scoring the first at the 46-minute mark.
- Carly Steinberg took a hard shot on goal for the Cherry and White, but the Tigers' keeper made the save.
