Uchijima and Nanere Qualify for ITA Fall National Championships

PHILADELPHIA- After an outstanding performance as finalists at ITA Northeast Super Regionals, Samantha Nanere and Maiko Uchijima earned an invitation to ITA National Fall Championships at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif. Tournament play begins on Nov. 1 and closes on Nov. 5.
ITA Super Regionals in West Point, N.Y. marked the first time Uchijima and Nanere paired for doubles play. This is Uchijima's second appearance, after advancing to the Round of 8 with Jamie Wei in 2022.
Nanere/Uchijima will participate in the Women's Doubles Round of 32 on Nov. 1 at 5 p.m., as they take on Eryn Cayetano/Emma Charney of the University of South Carolina.
