PHILADELPHIA - Senior Associate AD/External Operations Scott Walcoff has announced the promotion of marketing assistant MacKenzie Bell to a full-time member of the Temple Owls award-winning marketing team as marketing coordinator.

"I'm thrilled to officially announced MacKenzie Bell as the latest full-time addition to our marketing team," said Walcoff. "MacKenzie has repeatedly shown exceptional drive and work ethic as a graduate extern and is liked and respected by our coaches. I look forward to continuing to work with her."

Bell joined the Temple Athletics staff as a Marketing Assistant in August 2022. As an extern, Bell handled marketing and fan engagement for Temple's nationally ranked Field Hockey, and Gymnastics programs, as well as acting as the secondary marketing contact for women's basketball.

During the 2022 Field Hockey season, Bell drove a 72% increase in attendance and a jump to first place in the BIG EAST in average attendance. Bell also oversaw one of the most attended seasons in Temple women's gymnastics history, including 1,472 attendees for the season concluding Senior Day meet.

"I'm looking forward to continuing what I've started here," Bell stated. "Temple is really special to me and I am thrilled that I get to work and grow at an institution that means so much to me and our student-athletes, coaches, and fans. I am extremely grateful for all the support that I have received here and am looking forward to all that is to come."

Prior to her time at Temple, Bell attended Saint Joseph's University for four years, graduating in the spring of 2022. During her tenure on Hawk Hill, Bell spent time as Athletics and Recreation and Facilities Supervisor.
