Men Earn Top Ten Finish as Cross Country Concludes Season at Mid-Atlantic Championships

BETHELEM, Pa. – The Temple cross country teams competed at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Championships Friday at Lehigh University. Three Owls will be ran individually to represent Temple for the women, Elvira Bredin, Elsa Chan, and Dominyka Petraskaite. Chan earned All-Conference honors at the American Athletic Conference Championships two weeks ago. The men's team, consisting of Liem Chot, Josh Christianson, Christian Fitch, Cole Frank, Jimmy Koel, Zack Marmol, and Graham Thomas, finished in ninth.

No. 4 Georgetown took the team title for the women with 48 points, Sadie Sigfstead of Villanova took the individual crown. Elsa Chan paced Temple in 51st, with Elvira Bredin coming close behind at 56. Dominyka Petraskatie came in 121 out of the 196 runners.

No. 16 Princeton finished in first for the men (41 points), with Liam Murphy of Villanova taking first place. Cole Frank led all Temple runners in 32nd place in a field of 179. Liem Chot, who came in fourth place at the Pirate Intranational earlier this year, placed 45th. The Owls finished in 9th place out of 25 teams with 278 points.
