Nanere and Uchijima Advance to Round of 8 at ITA Fall Championships

SAN DIEGO, Calif.- Temple women's tennis doubles pair Samantha Nanere and Maiko Uchijima advanced to the Round of 8 at the ITA National Fall Championships after defeating the University of Maryland's Selma Cadar and Mary Brumfield during this evening's match at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego. This is the second straight year that a Temple women's tennis pairing advanced to the quarterfinals after Uchijima and Jamie Wei did a season ago.
