Owls in the NFL: Week 12

PHILADELPHIA- In the NFL game of the week, the world witnessed a very entertaining, high scoring matchup between former Owls of the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills.
Haason Reddick (2013-16) and the Philadelphia Eagles beat former Owls and teammates, Dion Dawkins (2013-16), Tyler Matakevich (2012-15), and the Buffalo Bills, 37-34 in an overtime thriller. While the Bills offense was able to gain over 500 yards and 40 minutes of possession, Reddick and the Eagles defense ultimately prevailed. Reddick recorded two tackles and one quarterback hit in the win.
Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) and the Atlanta Falcons beat former Owl, Keith Kirkwood (2014-17) and the New Orleans Saints, 24-15. Kirkwood had a season-high two catches for 20 yards, while Ebiketie recorded one tackle, one sack, one tackle for loss, and one quarterback hit.
Incidentally, both Reddick and Ebiketie lead their teams in sacks.
Brandon McManus (2009-12), Christian Braswell (2018-20), and the Jacksonville Jaguars beat AFC South division rivals, the Houston Texans, 24-21. McManus scored 10 points (3FG and 1 PAT) including a 53-yard field goal.
On Sunday Night, Rock Ya-Sin (2018) and the Baltimore Ravens beat the Los Angeles Chargers, 20-10.
P.J. Walker (2013-16) and the Cleveland Browns lost to the Denver Broncos, 29-12. After an injury to quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Walker entered the game and completed 6 of 13 attempts, throwing for 56 yards.
Sam Franklin (2016-19) and the Carolina Panthers lost to the Tennessee Titans, 17-10.
Sean Chandler (2014-17) was signed to the Washington Commanders this week.
