PHILADELPHIA — The American Athletic Conference announced its postseason all-conference awards, with four Owls earning recognition. TE David Martin-Robinson and LB Jordan Magee each earned All-Conference Second Team, while OL Wisdom Quarshie and OL Victor Stoffel both received All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Martin-Robinson made history this season, becoming just the third Temple tight end to ever eclipse 1,000 receiving yards in a career. He totaled 537 yards and four touchdowns off of 40 receptions. Martin-Robinson recorded two 100-yard receiving games this season, bringing his career total to three — that mark ties Randy Grossman (1971-73) for most all time by a Temple tight end.
LB Jordan Magee finished the season with 80 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. He ranked sixth in the AAC in tackles per game (7.27) and second in tackles for loss per game (1.27). Magee increased his career tackle total to 235.
Stoffel started every game at right tackle for the Owls, providing consistency at the position. Likewise with Quarshie, the right guard started all but one game this season for Temple. Behind the Owls' offensive line, Temple ranked fifth in the AAC and 24th in the FBS in team passing yardage per game (276.7).
