Five Owls Earn Phil Steele Postseason American Athletic All-Conference Accolades

PHILADELPHIA — Five players on the Temple Football team earned spots on the Phil Steele Postseason American Athletic All-Conference teams, the organization announced today.
Lineman Victor Stoffel led the way for the Owls, earning first-team recognition at the offensive tackle position. Stoffel, a single-digit player for Temple, started in every single game for the Owls on the offensive line. The accolade adds to his 2023 resume, which includes All-AAC honorable mention and College Football Network Midseason All-AAC Offensive Lineman of the year.
Tight end David Martin-Robinson and linebacker Jordan Magee both earned spots on the second team. Martin-Robinson, the first Temple tight end to earn a single digit, totaled 537 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns off 40 receptions this year. This season, he became just the third Temple tight end to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards in a career. Magee, also a single digit, was Temple's leader in tackles (80) and tackles for loss (14). He finished the season ranked third in the AAC in tackles and second in tackles for loss.
Sam Martin was named to the second-team All-AAC special teams, after emerging as a solid presence on kick returns for the Owls this season. Martin returned 27 kickoffs for 548, including a 95-yard kick return touchdown against Tulsa.
Wide receiver Amad Anderson Jr. and tight end Jordan Smith both earned spots on the offensive fourth team. Anderson Jr. led the Owls with 647 receiving yards and hauled in three receiving touchdowns on the year. He recorded two 100-yard receiving games, making him just the eighth Temple player in program history to accumulate five or more 100-yard receiving games during their career. Smith finished the year with 287 receiving yards off 25 receptions. His four receiving touchdowns are tied for the most by any Temple player this season.
