Owls in the NFL - 2022-23 Recap

PHILADELPHIA – With the 2022 NFL season coming to an end, let's see how all the Owls in the NFL fared this year.
Robbie Anderson (2011-13, 2015) played in 16 games, six with the Carolina Panthers, and 10 with the Arizona Cardinals, making seven combined starts. He had 20 catches for 282 yards and one touchdown in difficult season due to the mid-year move.
Shaun Bradley (2016-19) played in 15 games for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a mainstay on special teams in the regular season, before being placed on injured reserve prior to the postseason. The third-year linebacker recorded seven tackles (five solo, two assists).
Sean Chandler (2014-17) played in all 17 games for the Carolina Panthers this season. In his fifth pro season, the safety recorded 19 tackles (11 solo, eight assists).
Dion Dawkins (2013-16) played in 15 games for the Buffalo Bills, starting all of them. The sixth-year left tackle continued to prove why he is one of the best offensive linemen on and off the field, being named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl and was the Bills' nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
Michael Dogbe (2015-18) played in 13 games for the Arizona Cardinals, making four starts. The fourth-year defensive tackle made an impact in the Cardinals defensive line rotation, recording 28 tackles (14 solo, 14 assists), as well as one tackle for loss.
Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) played in 16 games during his rookie season for the Atlanta Falcons, making one start. The 38th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft recorded 30 tackles (21 solo, nine assists), three tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and 11 QB hits.
Sam Franklin (2016-19) played in all 17 games for the Carolina Panthers, making one start. The third-year defensive Swiss Army knife was in the upper echelon of special teams players in the NFL, recording 20 tackles (15 solo, five assists), one tackle for loss, and one forced fumble.
Nate Hairston (2012-16) played in two games for the Arizona Cardinals, spending a large part of the season on its practice squad. The sixth-year pro recorded one assist on a tackle.
Harrison Hand (2017-19) played in four games for the Chicago Bears this season, making one start. The third-year cornerback recorded 12 tackles (nine solo, three assists), one pass defended, and one forced fumble.
Matt Hennessy (2017-19) played in 11 games for the Atlanta Falcons, making four starts. The third-year offensive lineman was a part of a deep offensive line group, rotating in at center and guard.
Matt Ioannidis (2012-15) played in 13 games for the Carolina Panthers, starting all of them. The seven-year veteran recorded 37 tackles (17 solo, 20 assists), five tackles for loss, one sack, one pass defended, and one forced fumble.
Keith Kirkwood (2014-17) played in five games for the New Orleans Saints, making one start. The fifth-year receiver recorded two catches for 18 yards, while spending a majority of the season on the practice squad.
William Kwenkeu (2016-21) played in six regular season and one postseason game for the Minnesota Vikings. The rookie UDFA played primarily on special teams, who split time between the practice squad and the active roster, recorded two solo tackles and one tackle for loss.
Jacob Martin (2014-17) played in 13 games, eight for the New York Jets, and five with the Denver Broncos before suffering a season-ending injury. The fifth-year pass rusher recorded eight tackles (three solo, five assists), four QB hits, 1.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.
Tyler Matakevich (2012-15) played in 16 games for the Buffalo Bills. The seventh-year linebacker has established himself as a captain of the Bills special teams unit. He recorded six tackles (five solo, one assist).
Brandon McManus (2009-12) played in all 17 games for the Denver Broncos. The ninth-year kicker went 28/36 on field goals this season, with a long of 55 yards, and 25/27 on extra points.
Chris Myarick (2016-18) played in 16 games for the New York Giants, making eight starts. The third-year tight end recorded seven catches for 65 yards and a touchdown.
Haason Reddick (2013-16) played in all 17 regular season and all three postseason games for the Philadelphia Eagles. The sixth-year pass rusher had a career year in his first season with the Eagles. The Camden, N.J. native led the NFL in forced fumbles with five. He was selected to his first career Pro Bowl, as he recorded 49 tackles, 16 sacks, 26 QB hits, 11 tackles for loss, three passes defended, and three fumble recoveries. In the postseason, Reddick had 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, nine tackles, and six QB hits. His stellar season resulted in the former Owl being named 2nd team All-Pro and finishing fourth in Defensive Player of the Year voting.
Quincy Roche (2016-19) played in three games for the New York Giants, spending a majority of the season on the practice squad. The second-year linebacker recorded two assists on tackles. He has since signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
P.J. Walker (2013-16) played in six games for the Carolina Panthers, making five starts. The third-year quarterback had his best pro season, getting the chance to start multiple games for the first time, and completing 59.4% of his passes for 731 yards and three touchdowns.
Rock Ya-Sin (2018) played in 11 games for the Las Vegas Raiders, making nine starts. The fourth-year cornerback recorded 45 tackles (37 solo, eight assists), one QB hit, and seven passes defended before an injury ended his season.
Kenny Yeboah (2016-19) played in 10 games for the New York Jets. The second-year tight end played primarily on special teams and blocking units.
Todd Bowles (1982-85) led his Tampa Bay Buccaneers to an 8-9 record and an NFC South Division crown in his first season as the head coach. The Bucs would be knocked out in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.
