Crosse and Barber Named to Weekly Honor Roll

IRVING, Texas – After posting a 1-1 week, which included a dominant 19-5 win over Old Dominion, Charessa Crosse and Maddie Barber were named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.
Crosse helped to lead the Owl offense in the two-game week, combining for six points on three goals and three assists. Of her six points, five came in the 19-5 win over ODU, which proved to be a career-best for the senior. This weekly award serves as the first of her career.
Barber led the defensive efforts for the Cherry and White combining for nine groundballs, five caused turnovers, and ten draw controls. Her six groundball, four caused turnover, and seven draw control performance over Drexel served as one of the best games of her career as she posted a career best in caused turnovers while posting a season-best in draw controls. In addition, she tallied one assist in the win over ODU.
The Owls will return to action on Saturday, Apr. 22 to host East Carolina for senior day. First draw is set for 12 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
