Men's Crew and Women's Rowing to Host Murphy Cup

PHILADELPHIA - The 40th annual Murphy Cup hosted by the Temple Owls will take place on April 8, 2023 at the East Park Canoe House on the Schuylkill River.
This year the Murphy Cup will feature both Men's and Women's rowing teams competing in the regatta. Opening heats are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., with finals to follow at 12:30 p.m.

Last season, Temple Women's Rowing won the Murphy Cup for the first time since 1995. The Men's Crew team last won the race in 2021 in their first race that season.
The Murphy Cup Regatta began in 1983 with the first annual race. The cup is named for the late former Temple oarsman John Murphy.
