  • Both teams continued to exert back and forth pressure, each netting two goals apiece which included two Roth goals, ending the third quarter trailing by just one goal.
  • Florida kept their foot on the gas, posting a three-goal run to take the 15-11 lead, but Mia Ciancio cut the momentum with a goal of her own off another Roth dish.
  • Two more Gator goals would come, split by a Julie Schickling finish to close out the day 17-13.

Quotable
"I think we did a great job coming ready to play today," Head Coach Bonnie Rosen said. "We made some really great gains this week in our offensive production and we were able to showcase that. I think this performance shows that we have the ability to compete with everyone in the country and now we'll focus on getting the job done next week."
